Project Overview

Business Context & Professional Relationship

Modemkiller Ltd is a Glasgow-area web design and development company serving SMEs in Scotland, elsewhere in the UK, and Canada. Founder Jamie Morrison needed a compact first garment run that would make the brand more recognisable at structured business events, informal networking, and hands-on work throughout the year. The project was delivered as a limited paid collaboration with Division Co and Equal Clothing.

The Challenge

The challenges faced by the business before we intervened.

As a one-person business placing its first employee workwear order, Modemkiller could not justify the minimum quantities often attached to custom garment supply. The range still needed suitable sizing, dependable decoration, competitive pricing, and a professional finish across colder and warmer settings. Without a fixed event deadline, the priority was to balance quality and budget rather than pay for unnecessary speed.

The Solution

Division Co provided in-person guidance, example branded hoodies, and fit checks before selecting heavyweight white hoodies and medium-weight white T-shirts. A placement mock-up was supplied for approval, with black Modemkiller wordmark embroidery across the chest, the colour logo printed across the back, and an Equal Clothing patch applied to a single sleeve. Jamie Morrison, founder of Modemkiller Ltd, approved the final specification and Azeem Ahmed, founder of Division Co and Equal Clothing, coordinated production. To keep the low-volume order cost-effective, delivery was consolidated with a larger shipment.

Discuss Your Needs
  • Garment selection: Heavyweight white hoodies and medium-weight white T-shirts were selected to give Modemkiller branded options across different seasons and working environments.

  • Brand implementation: The black Modemkiller wordmark was embroidered across the chest, the colour logo was printed across the back, and an Equal Clothing patch was applied to the sleeve.

  • Fit and approval: Example garments supported the fit check, while a visual placement mock-up allowed the branding specification to be approved before production.

  • Cost-conscious fulfilment: With no urgent deadline, the finished order was consolidated with a larger shipment to make delivery more economical for a small business.

In the Words of The Client

The quality of the hoodies was unrivalled.

“Azeem Ahmed was able to offer me and my start-up the workwear and brand implementation I needed to formalise my appearance at business events and networking throughout the calendar year. The quality of the hoodies was unrivalled, and I’ll definitely be approaching Division Co again for my future workwear needs.”

Project Outcomes

Division Co supplied five finished garments across hoodies, standard T-shirts, and activewear T-shirts. The resulting range gives Modemkiller a consistent branded presence for formal networking, casual business events, hands-on work, and warmer crowded environments throughout the year.

  • A first professional workwear range delivered at a viable quantity for a one-person business.

  • Consistent front, back, and sleeve branding across complementary garment formats.

  • A practical route to future repeat orders without committing to unnecessary stock.
